Sandrine's Wedding

I have known my dear friend Raymond Ost for over sixteen years. He was the Executive Chef at the Meridien Hotel when I started there in the early 1990's. Since then he has become a Maitre Cuisiner de France(a french chef's highest honor), opened his own restaurant to national acclaim in Harvard Square, Sandrine's Bistro, and with the help of his beautiful wife Cathy they have raised two great children, Sandrine and Stefan. During this time I have been lucky enough to help him with his restaurant by supplying the finest foods Dole & Bailey can source, and was blessed by celebrating my marriage to Lisa in his restaurant.
This past weekend Sandrine and her new husband Matthew were married in Woodstock VT. It had an international flare with attendees from over ten nations. To top it off Chef toasted his daughters marriage by creating the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen. It was tower of traditional french Croque En Bouche garnished with Naugatine and Pulled Sugar sculptures. A perfect gift from a Master Chef to his daughter.

Beautiful pix! Looks like a good time. Good thing Nate wasn't there, that cake would have never survived!
