As we sit here on Sunday night we have started to thaw. It has been in the low fifties the last two days, but we are preparing for another snow storm due in on Tuesday. Living up against 800 acres of conservation land we have a lot of varied and unusual wildlife, but not as frequently as one would think. With all of that land the animals have plenty of room to roam and keep to themselves. With this long and harsh winter some of the wildlife has started to wander out in search of food. In the last week we have had a Peleated Woodpecker and have been going to bed and waking with deer in the yard. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
